Carol specializes in creative nonfiction (or narrative nonfiction) for the school and library market. She writes for both young explorers and experienced readers.
Weaving creativity with factual information, she finds unique hooks to capture and engage her readers while journeying with them on an armchair adventure through her written words.
As the author of over 30 books and hundreds of articles, she was contracted to create and facilitate Cengage Learning's online course -- "Writing for Children" -- which she taught for over ten years through a global educational consortium of over 2,700 colleges and universities.
Although Carol started writing professionally at the age of 16 when Pennsylvania Fish and Boat asked her to write a set of articles, she advanced her writing career further decades later with several multi-publication contracts with well-known publishers.
She is currently working on several new writing projects for both adults and children.
